Role at the SALT Center: As a Student Support Specialist, I work with students to help create their Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) by collaboratively developing goals for success, incorporating academic strategies, and providing students with guidance and encouragement throughout their university experience.
Education: The University of Arizona, Tucson, B.A., Cultural Anthropology, Loyola College (now Loyola University), Maryland, M.Ed. with a Montessori specialization.
Hometown: Tucson, Arizona
Activities/Interests: In my free time I relish physical and creative pursuits, including, but not limited to hiking, biking, dancing, photography, pottery, baking, and gardening. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, and volunteering with the Pima Animal Care Center TOP Dogs program, an initiative that provides training and enrichment to help adoptable dogs be all they can be.
