Enrollment Steps
If we've reviewed your application and determined that you are eligible to enroll in the SALT Center, your next task is to complete our three enrollment steps by May 1, 2026. This is how you reserve your spot in our academic support program. Spots are limited! See the checklist below for more details.
1. SUBMIT the SALT Center Participation Agreement
Access the SALT Center's New Student Participation Agreement in the SALT Center Application Portal. The agreement must be submitted in order to officially reserve your place in the SALT Center for the academic year. Please note: if you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian will also be required to review and sign the agreement.
By enrolling in the SALT Center you are agreeing to:
- participate for a minimum of two consecutive semesters
- pay a program fee for academic support services
2. SELECT a date to attend the SALT Center Enrollment Event
The SALT Center Enrollment Event is a mandatory event and provides information on what to expect and how to best utilize our academic support services.
- First-Year Students: The event takes place virtually, live on Zoom on specified dates in June. All new students and a parent/supporter must attend to retain their spot in the program.
- Transfer & Current U of A Students: The event takes place virtually, live on Zoom in August, and you (the student) must attend to retain your spot in the program.
3. PLAN to attend the mandatory SALT Center Summer Workshop Series
(First-Year Students Only)
The SALT Center Summer Workshop Series is required for all incoming students as part of enrollment in the SALT Center. The workshop series is designed to prepare students for the transition into the college environment and for utilizing SALT Center services.
The workshops will take place virtually on Zoom during the week of June 22–25, 2026 from 2-3pm (Arizona time) each day. Please save these dates in your calendar and avoid scheduling other appointments during these times, which would prevent you from attending.
Additionally, a one-time $200 enrollment fee* which covers the cost of the mandatory SALT Center Enrollment Event, will be charged to your university bill in July. The enrollment fee is separate from SALT Center program fees, which are also billed in July.
*Note, as a special incentive, the $200 Enrollment Fee will be waived for all students who complete their enrollment steps by May 1st, 2026.
Students who do not fulfill all enrollment steps may be placed on a waiting list.
If you wish to cancel your admission to the SALT Center, please notify us via email and you will be sent a cancellation form. Cancellation forms must be submitted to be eligible for a refund.
