Dr. Roxana Samaniego

Director of Clinical Services

Role at the SALT Center: My primary role is to oversee clinical services and supervise doctoral psychology interns providing psychological services to our students.  I am a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist and work closely with the interns to ensure they provide the appropriate standard of care.  I also provide training for our staff, as needed, on mental health and other issues that students with learning challenges often face.

Education: Southern Methodist University, B.A. in Psychology; Arizona State University, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology

Activities/Interests: In my free time, I spend as much time as possible with family and friends. The rest of the time you can find me reading, walking the dog, or engaging in various sci-fi or otherwise geeky activities.
