Life After College: Preparing For Your Future

Presenter: Carly Chinich, SALT Alum

In this session, we will be discussing the importance to start early with your career planning as well as how much time in advance it will take to get you ready for internships and jobs. We will discuss job search methods, LinkedIn, and resources. Look more into what your major offers students and the University resources that are available for all students, even after you graduate. We will even discuss many things to find your passion. Not all careers start with your dream job or have a direct path. Learn more about career planning while in college and prepare yourself for your future.

Carly Chinich graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and went on to earn her Master’s in Performance Psychology. She has worked with a multitude of sports teams and with the Transportation Security Agency (TSA). She recently pivoted her career and is now an Instructional Designer for a mortgage company where she currently builds computer-based training programs for their employees.
