Role at the SALT Center: As a Graduate Assistant, I work with students to help create and implement their Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) by collaboratively developing goals for success, incorporating academic strategies, and providing students with guidance and encouragement throughout their university experience. I assist students in managing their time and courseload and in communicating with other areas in the SALT Center and in the campus community. I also recruit, hire, train, and evaluate peer tutors who support students with their subject area coursework.
Education: University of Arizona, B.S., Geography (minor in Environmental Studies). University of Arizona, M.A., Higher Education (in progress).

Activities/Interests: I have always been drawn to animals. Though I don't have any of my own right now, I live with a wonderful cat and volunteer with a local animal rescue (Tucson2Tails) on weekends. I also love hiking, biking, yoga, and cooking/baking. I greatly value time with my friends, family, and significant other, and often share my hobbies and passions with them.
