SALT Center Expansion and Renovation Completed
After almost a year of construction, the SALT Center has finished a major expansion and renovation project designed to provide our students and staff with the enhanced spaces and tools they need to succeed. We are thrilled to be back in our home, the Patricia A. Bartlett Building, and getting the most out of our improved areas and upgrades. Here is a highlight of some of the new features that are now available:
Five new high-tech stations built around large, flat-screen monitors that allow students to plug in their digital devices and share content for team projects and study sessions.
Our tutoring areas have gained significant square footage, including an enlarged, dedicated space for our Math, Science, and Writer’s Labs.
Open Study Rooms
Quiet spaces that students can use alone or with tutors to study or work on assignments.
A sleek new tech-compatible seating area, equipped with large monitors and space for laptops.
An open area with comfortable modular furniture where you can study, relax, or just hang out.
All of our existing offices have been updated or remodeled. Additionally, we created a number of new offices to accommodate future staffing needs.
A spacious meeting area featuring state-of-the-art presentation and teleconferencing technology.
The exterior of our building features several new benches, a bicycle rack, a small garden area for reflection, and a patio with shaded seating, tables, and colorful desert landscaping.
Two additional restrooms have been built and existing facilities have been completely renovated.
Our upgraded fountains now feature built-in bottle filling stations that provide filtered water to keep us hydrated.
