Role at the SALT Center: As a Graduate Assistant for Learning Support Services, I provide training and assistance to new and returning tutors at SALT. Also, I assist with the recruitment process in finding subject area tutors who can assist SALT’s population of students with developing effective study skills. I also screen applications and perform interviews with applicants who are interested in becoming tutors at SALT.
Education: The University of Arizona, B.A., French
Hometown: Tucson, Arizona
Activities/Interests: I love traveling, playing outdoors with my dogs (we love to hike Tanque Verde Falls), and reading indoors with my cat (our favorite author is Fyodor Dostoyevsky). I am fluent in French, and tend ignore my horoscope for the most part. Before becoming the Tutoring Program Coordinator, I was a math and science tutor here at SALT, and I also taught algebra and geometry at a local high school.
