Position Title: Coordinator, Learning Support Services
Role at the SALT Center: As a Learning Support Services Coordinator, I assist in coordinating the recruitment, hiring, training and supervision of tutoring staff. I also oversee and supervise tutors in the Writer’s Lab. This includes facilitating trainings, workshops and cultivating new methods for supporting tutors and student writers.
Education: The University of Arizona, B.A. English, Creative Writing and M. Ed. Teaching and Teacher Education.
Hometown: Tucson, Arizona
Activities/Interests: I love to read 19th century novels and science fiction, my favorite author is Ursula Le Guin. I also enjoy working needle-crafts, hiking, playing board games, taking road trips and spending time with friends and family. Any weekend I can be found cooking something new, creating new stitching patterns and enjoying time with family.
